Marcia Gay Harden

Marcia Gay Harden is the fifth of her sisters born to La Jolla on 14 August 1959. Beverly Bushfield is her mother employed as a domestic worker, while Thad Harold Harden fought employed in the military. Families moved oftenher first interest in the theatre when the family lived in Greece as she had enjoyed theatre performances in Athens. Harden began her studies in American universities in Europe and returned to the US for her final education in the University of Texas in 1983; went on to earn an MFA degree at NYU followed by a stint at NYU where she began her acting career. Her previous roles included one film in 1986 with The Imagemaker, but her debut role in a major film was Miller's Crossing, the Coen Brothers' offbeat, clever tribute to the gangster genre. Harden got a positive review for her stunning performance as Verna who was a seductive and difficult-to-control moll. Harden thereafter worked steadily as a supporting character, such as her portrayal as Ava Gardner in Sinatra (1992), a television biopic about Frank Sinatra. Marcia Marcia Marcia
