Jessica Chastain

Jessica Chastain (born Jessica Chastain) is an iconic American film maker, actress and feminist. She has portrayed powerful women in films that contain feminist themes. Two Oscars were awarded to her and she has received a Golden Globe Award. Her birthplace was California in the US but began to discover a passion for acting when she watched the play Joseph and the Amazing Tecnhicolor Dreamcoat. The stage actress made her professional debut with a stage production of 'Romeo and Juliet' and her first film appearance with an appearance in the drama film "Jolene". Her popularity grew with performances in films such as "Take shelter", "The Help", "Mama" and Interstellar. The actress won the Golden Globe Award for her character in "Zero Dark Thirty with the nomination of 'Best Actress'. Her most well-known roles portray females who are strong and flawed. A majority of her roles are considered to be feminist. A vocal and outspoken feminist Her work has led her for her support of equality in pay.
