Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the US of America is an actress as well as a performer. The parents of Kristen Bell were Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier and both are television news directors. Her family was born in Huntington Woods Michigan. She is of Polish (mother's) and German (father's), English, Irish and Scottish ancestry. Kristen found her talent in the entertainment industry when she was just a teenager. In 1992, she was the first to go to an audition. She was given an appearance of Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell had an agent appointed by her mother prior to the age of 13 and was cast as a model on television and newspaper commercials. In the same year she began taking classes in acting. Bell was in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 as an uncredited actor. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School and was in the band and drama clubs. The school's production of The Wizard of Oz, Bell was cast as Dorothy. Bell then moved to New York City, to the Tisch School of the Arts. She was a musical theatre student there. Bell was a graduate in 2001, decided to leave her university studies to perform in the role of Becky in Tom Sawyer. Also in 2001 that Bell's first appearance in a movie that had been credited, Pootie Tang (2002). Unfortunately her scene was cut and the credits are all that display her. Bell appeared alongside Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
