Linda Edna Cardellini was born in Redwood City, California, to Lorraine (Hernan) and Wayne David Cardellini an entrepreneur. Linda is Italian (from a paternal grandson), Irish (from a mother), German and English. Linda was born in San Francisco Bay and grew to be the youngest of four children. When she was ten years old, Linda was captivated by acting when she performed an instrumental role in the Christmas show at her school. The school continued to offer plays and theater for the community. Linda was a student at Saint Francis High School Mountain View California. Following her graduation her school, she faced an option. Would she go into New York and pursue theatre or Los Angeles in order to pursue a degree in film and TV? She decided to go to LA. Linda was cast in her first part on the series Bone Chillers (1996). Freaks and Geeks, 1999 was her breakthrough part. Lindsay Weir played the academic decathlete in the cult show that she was the recipient of one Emmy Award.

Lily James is a stage name for Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson, an English actress born 5 April 1989. She was trained at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama and started her career on the British television series Just William (2010). Following her role in the role of Lady Rose MacClare in the period drama series Downton Abbey (2012-2015), her breakthrough was the title role in the fantasy film Cinderella (2015). James later played the the Countess Natasha Rostova on the TV adaptation of War & Peace in 2016. She has also starred in many films including Baby Driver (2017) and period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society 2018. She also appeared in The Dig 2021, as in the musicals Mamma Mia! We Go Back Again (2018) and Yesterday (2019). The role she played as Pamela Anderson in the biographical series Pam & Tommy (2022) earned her nominations for the Golden Globe and a Primetime Emmy Award.
